Youth Environmental Action Fund

The Green Futures Youth Environmental Action Fund offers young people the chance to make a real difference to the environment in their local communities, through their own projects.

Bring your green ideas to life!

The Youth Environmental Action Fund provides funding and support for young people to set up and deliver small scale environmental projects that:

  • Improve or enhance the local natural environment or
  • Develop environmental awareness in local communities.
The money can be used to run events, meetings or workshops, or purchase resources for practical environmental work. You can apply for 100% of the total project cost. The minimum grant is £50 up to a maximum of £1000.  

Can you apply? 

To apply young people must be:

  • Aged 11-24 years
  • Based in the Yorkshire Dales National Park or areas of North Yorkshire, Lancashire and parts of Cumbria bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park or areas of Bradford, Keighley & Leeds (West Yorkshire) and north-east Lancashire within an hour’s travel of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
