Consultancy/Other Services
Over the years YDMT staff and partners have built up a considerable body of expertise in project management, training, conduct of research and feasibility studies, and advice on project structure and funding, including the submission of funding bids to other grant giving organisations. These skills form the basis of what we call our 'consultancy' work, where we undertake contract work on behalf of others.
In many cases this work comes within the remit of our charitable aims, however for project work or other trading activities falling outside our charitable objectives, or for a very large contract, the work would be undertaken by our wholly-owned subsidiary, YDMT Consultants Limited.
YDMT Consultants Limited draws on all the skills and resources of Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust, reimbursing the Trust by way of a management fee and the transfer of all profits to the Trust.
