BBC weatherman predicts bright outlook for the Dales!
Date Posted: 26/06/2009
We are delighted to introduce BBC weatherman Paul Hudson as ambassador for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
Born in Keighley, Paul is the well-known weatherman for BBC Yorkshire and a much-loved character in the region. Paul reveals why the Dales has a special place in his heart:
“I have always enjoyed the Dales. I have family who still live in Linton Falls near Grassington, and many a happy day has been spent in Wharfedale. I spent four years living in Knaresborough and often went walking in Nidderdale. I’m delighted to be an Ambassador for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and proud to support the work they do to maintain this special area for the enjoyment of all.”
Paul welcomes the news that the Trust has recently benefited from donations from the People’s Postcode Lottery:
“The assistance of the People’s Postcode Lottery will help YDMT to continue the good work, enabling local people to achieve practical projects which will enhance the Dales for future generations.”
