Bentham Parish Caretaker

Projects > Bentham Parish Caretaker

Bentham used a Parish Caretaker to do 'all those little jobs' that the parish struggled to get done as they were not considered big enough by outside contractors. After 4 years of trying to get the public benches painted they were all done in summer 2010 and now the parish looks so much smarter. Having someone on hand has meant that so much more has been done than was expected – roadside trees have been trimmed back, a dying tree in the cemetery removed, snow cleared from the footpaths around the school and ice treated with salt to keep the area safe; all following a single phone call instead of calling several contractors for the best price and then waiting weeks for something to happen!
