LEADER

LEADER has awarded £98,937 over 2 years towards the creation of a flexible community centre within Clarks Old School building.

The Community Centre is part funded by LEADER and will become a local facility for education, training, welfare and childcare services. It will give the residents of Wigglesworth and the surrounding villages the opportunity to become involved in activities which contribute to the sustainable future of these rural communities. It will both develop and re-invigorate the social and leisure activities within the village.

The funding for this project is being made available through the Rural Development Programme for England, which is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union.
