'Mishaps and Mistakes at the Plough Inn'
Going back in time the landlords of the Plough Inn are a fascinating group of people, but, for some reason, have had some ridiculously bad luck. This light-hearted entertaining talk reveals all.
Light refreshment included.
The trails are led by local historian Sarah Lister, whose latest book ‘Meandering down the Ribble’ (available to buy from our online shop) explores the lives of people who lived, worked and died in the Long Preston area. A must for anyone looking for an exciting and interactive glimpse into the history of this iconic area.
The trails are being delivered for free as part of Deeper Connections, a Long Preston Floodplain project that enhances the important wet grassland habitats of the Ribble floodplain and helps people to discover and protect this unique landscape. We'd welcome your donations to help support our work.
