THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO FORECAST ADVERSE WEATHER. If you've booked to come on this event we'll be in touch, alternatively you can call us on 015242 51002 for more information.
Join us to help plant young native trees at Woodale Wood, at the scenic Scar House Reservoir in Nidderdale.
It’s a chance to get hands-on and take part in practical conservation in the heart of Nidderdale, planting native trees including: rowan, alder, scots pine, downy birch, hazel, aspen and field maple.
Don’t worry, it won’t be a hard day’s labour! Simply a chance to get out in the countryside, learn a little about trees and woodland creation and do something positive for the environment.
There will also be the chance to dedicate the tree(s) that you plant on the day – a special way to remember a loved one, celebrate an anniversary or occasion, or simply to leave your mark on the landscape.
