Tree planting day

17 March 2018

Do something amazing for the environment! Join us to plant native broadleaf trees and help create a new woodland in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Tree planting is one of the most important things you can do for the environment. Since 1996 YDMT has been working together with partners and supporters to create a landscape with more native broadleaf woodlands for people and wildlife. If you'd like to get hands-on and help us create a new woodland area in the heart of the Dales please come and join us on 17 March when we'll be planting a variety of native broadleaf trees to help expand the existing woodland cover in Bishopdale. You'll also have the opportunity to Dedicate a Tree in the woodland you have helped to create. This is a great opportunity to do some practical conservation work, perhaps learn a new skill, meet some of the YDMT team and enjoy a beautiful part of the Dales.

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring appropriate clothing and gloves as required. Drink and snack recommended.
