Introduction to watercolour painting

06 June 2018 to 20 June 2018

Three workshops will cover the various aspects that make watercolour painting so versatile and effective. Learn about colours, paper, washes and brushes using the local landscape as inspiration.

This course includes three weekly workshops over three weeks covering the various aspects that make the medium of watercolour so versatile and effective - including palette colours, paper type, washes, brush types and colour mixing with exercises using the local landscape.

This course is ideal for you if you want to try watercolour paints, but need some guidance to get to grips with this lovely medium. The theory will be supported by exercises using the local landscape, which you can then practise between the weekly sessions.

The course fee covers the three workshops.
