This woodland covers an area of 6.3 hectares. It is adjacent to and extends an area of woodland planted in 2009 at nearby Parlour Barn and also links to other smaller areas of native broadleaf woodland in the area.

Our 2011-13 Supporter Woodland
This woodland covers an area of 6.3 hectares. It is adjacent to and extends an area of woodland planted in 2008 at nearby Parlour Barn and also links to other smaller areas of native broadleaf woodland in the area.
A mixture of native broadleaf species have been planted, including large proportions of Hawthorn (15%), Oak (16%), Ash (16%) and Downy Birch (10%), along with smaller proportions of species including Alder, Rowan, Holly, Bird Cherry, Goat Willow and Blackthorn. In total, 6750 trees have been planted on the site.
It has been funded through your donations as well as money from YDMT, the Forestry Commission and the land owner.
Directions and access
There is a public right of way adjacent to the woodland site but the woodland is situated on private land with no access through it.
