Bee Together

The Bee Together project aims to bring people together to help reverse the decline of wild bees and other pollinators, through engagement, education and practical conservation work.

Join us now to act for pollinators

Bee Together works with groups to help create a network of bee-friendly habitats in the community.

We're now looking for groups in Leeds, Craven and Ingleton in the south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park who would like to create community meadows, bee-friendly vegetable gardens and nesting sites for solitary bees. If you have access to an outdoor space that can be improved for pollinators we'd love to hear from you. We can work with any kind of space big or small - from allotments and gardens, to churchyards, village greens or school grounds. We'll provide the hands-on support, and can offer funding for equipment and training on how to manage and maintain your project.

Grow your own wildflower garden

There's lots you can do to encourage bees and wildlife into your own outdoor spaces too.

Read about how to bring bees, pollinators and other wildlife into your garden and watch our videos on how to create your own wildflower meadow or lawn. You can also buy a Wildflower Meadow Starter Kit from our shop, which includes wildflower seeds and information about creating a wildflower meadow.

Help save our pollinators

Our work to restore species-rich hay meadows and protect bumblebees and other wildlife that depend on them is possible because of you! Your support can make the world of difference to our precious pollinators.
