Green Futures

Green Futures brings environmental opportunities to the ambitious and capable young people of Yorkshire and Lancashire. Through a range of innovative projects we aim to inspire, support and empower young people to create positive environmental change.

#IWillforNature

2019 is a brilliant time to get involved in Green Futures. The government has declared 2019 as the year of green action in their 25 year plan for the environment, and the #iwill movement aims to increase environmental action and engagement among 10 to 20 year olds. If you're passionate about the environment and want to meet like-minded people, why not join our Youth Environment Forum?

The Forum meets regularly throughout the year to deliver practical environmental action and develop campaign ideas, as well as helping to deliver an annual Youth Environment Summit.

Our next meeting will take place in Settle in January 2019 – please get in touch if you'd like to come along and find out what it's all about. Contact gail.smith@ydmt.org or call 015242 51002.
