Yorkshire Dales wildflower course
A series of four online videos giving a comprehensive overview of the key wildflowers in the Yorkshire Dales and a guide to their identification. The course tutor, Steph Dwyer of Yorkshire Dales Guides, is a mostly self-taught botanist who is passionate about sharing her fun tips and tricks to understanding and identifying plants with greater ease. This course has been brought to you as part of the Stories in Stone programme.
Part 1: Key parts of a wildflower
An introduction to using keys to identify wildflowers - covering parts of the flower, flower arrangement, leaf shapes and leaf arrangement and including a demonstration in the field.
Part 2 - Wildflowers of Early Spring
